Luxe Detailing Hawaii offers three ceramic coating systems. The names suggest the only difference is how long each one lasts, but the bigger differences are in preparation, which surfaces are covered and what kind of written coverage comes with the install.
This guide walks through each system so you can match the choice to your paint, your plans for the car and the surfaces you care about.
The short answer
Choose the 5-year system for an entry estimate without machine polishing. Choose the 8-year system when a one-step paint enhancement belongs in the plan. Choose the lifetime system when you want glass, wheels, written Luxe-backed coverage and eligible CARFAX reporting in one package.
5-Year System: The Essential Coating Path
The 5-year system starts at $899 for a small car. It is designed for paint that does not need machine polishing in the estimate. That does not mean the paint is ignored: it is still evaluated and prepared before the coating goes on.
It is a good fit for owners who are happy with how their paint looks today and want to protect that finish, rather than change it. Glass coating and wheel-face coating are optional at $75 each, so you can add the surfaces that matter to you without moving up a tier.
8-Year System: Add a One-Step Paint Enhancement
The 8-year system starts at $1,299, which is $400 more than the 5-year starting price. The main addition is a one-step paint enhancement before coating. That step is meant to improve gloss and clarity across the vehicle.
It is not a promise that every defect will disappear. Deeper scratches or specific defects may need a separate correction plan, which is covered in our guide to paint correction in Honolulu. Glass and wheel coating remain available at $75 each.
Lifetime System: Complete Surfaces and Luxe-Backed Coverage
The lifetime system starts at $2,199 and includes exterior glass coating and wheel-face coating. The warranty is backed by Luxe Detailing Hawaii, and the written terms set out eligibility, registration, inspection and maintenance requirements.
Eligible installations may be reported to CARFAX. It helps to understand that the CARFAX entry is a record of the installation, not the warranty itself. The written warranty is what defines your coverage.
All three systems use the same size adjustments: SUVs and crossovers add $100, and trucks, vans and larger vehicles add $175.
A Practical Way to Choose
Rather than starting with the number of years, start with three questions. What finish do you want, and is your paint already close to it? How long do you plan to keep the car? Which surfaces do you want protected beyond the paint?
If your paint already looks the way you want, the 5-year system may be enough. If you want broader gloss and clarity improvement, the 8-year system builds that in. If you want glass, wheels and written coverage together, the lifetime system is the complete option. Whatever you pick online, the confirmation call is there to make sure the system matches your expectations before installation day.
