Ceramic Coating Cost on Oʻahu: A Transparent 2026 Price Guide

Ceramic coating prices can be hard to compare. One shop quotes a single number, another quotes a range, and a third will not give a figure until it has seen the car. This guide lays out Luxe Detailing Hawaii’s published starting prices for 2026, explains what can move a final quote up or down, and lists the questions worth asking before you commit to any installer on Oʻahu.

The goal is simple: you should know roughly what to expect before anyone touches your paint, and you should understand why the number on your confirmation call might differ from the starting estimate.

The short answer

The 5-year system starts at $899 for a small car and does not include machine polishing. The 8-year system starts at $1,299 and includes a one-step paint enhancement. The Luxe-backed lifetime system starts at $2,199 and includes exterior glass and wheel-face coating. SUVs and crossovers add $100; trucks, vans and larger vehicles add $175.

What can change the final coating quote

The online estimate builder gives you a starting figure based on system, size and surfaces. After that, a specialist calls to confirm the details. A final quote can shift when the car shows heavy contamination, oxidation, water-spot etching, an existing coating that needs attention, or bodywork that changes how panels should be prepared. Access at your location and your correction goals also matter.

When you compare estimates from different installers, line up the same things side by side: which coating system is used, whether a polishing step is included, which surfaces are covered, how vehicle size is priced, how the deposit is treated, and who backs the warranty.

How the $50 booking deposit works

A $50 deposit holds your appointment time and is credited toward your final total, so it is not an extra charge. For ceramic coating, your preferred time is placed on the calendar and a follow-up call confirms the final scope, preparation, warranty details and appointment.

If anything about the scope changes, it is explained before service begins. The aim is that there are no surprise add-ons on installation day.

If you need to change your plans at least 24 hours before the appointment, the deposit can be transferred once to a new time or refunded on request. The full rules are in the booking terms.

Questions to ask when comparing Oʻahu coating estimates

  • Is any polishing or paint enhancement included, or is it extra?
  • Are glass and wheels included, or priced as add-ons?
  • Who backs the written warranty?
  • What are the maintenance and inspection terms?
  • Is the deposit credited toward the final total?

You can compare the three coating systems in more detail, see all starting prices on one page, or build your coating estimate and reserve a time with the $50 deposit.
